Fighting Fear was founded with the motto "Fight FEAR and free yourself from anxiety". Our founder Saquib Ahmad came up with the name Fighting Fear whilst working in a mental health service in London, UK. Our vision now, is to create a global community where Queer people (though not exclusively) can access support, information and connectivity with professionals and other like-minded people. We understand the need to have safe and brave spaces for ourselves where we can express our thoughts and feelings and learn about ourselves without the glare of patriarchy.
Fighting Fear aims to provide help and support to individuals, couples, groups or organisations. We are a LGBTQI+ organisation for LGBTQI+ people that works intersectionally to allow all your identities and values to be seen and validated.
